http://typera.tk/ everyday. practicing to speed up my typing speed. quite fun. so tat was my result.
just came back from plaza singapura with my dad. went to spotlight to check out the curtains. saw alot of ppl i knew on the way there. bla bla bla. so when we reached there and were done with looking around, we enquired a shop attendant about the smaller details and everything else. ok. so he first said tat the discount on the rods expired one month ago, but he will still give us tat price. after he went to check, he realised tat the discount would end today, and he aso said tat he would still give us the price even if we came next week. on a condition tat"you must look for me ok?" hahaha tat sounded kinda gay. but i cant deny the fact tat he is indeed helpful, and he went out of his way to find us some shorter curtains as he was doing stock-checking earlier. many praises for him. =P one point im confused about is wad will happen when they do their accountings. i mean like when this price is not supposed to be in after the promotional period, and if he keyed it in in the cashier machine, wad will happen to the accounts? hmmm.
after tat we went walking around PS. and my dad suddenly wanted to eat ice cream and we saw an ice cream shop in front. wad my dad saw immediately turned him away from the shop, which was Anderson btw. as we walked towards the shop, he fished out a $2 note, and was stunned by the price of $3.80 for the price of a small single flavoured ice cream. and the shop beside it sold the same thing at the price of $3.50. so ex. was just not something we could afford. went back to tampines to have our ice cream at mac.
so while we were at the mrt, there was this smrt staff who was gestured commuters to the end of the mrt as there was a huge crowd at the end of both escalators. not tat he yelled everyone away, but his action of going to each commuter really got the crowd moving. is this wad u call personal? i dunno. so when the mrt eventually arrived after a long 7mins, he stood at the centre of the doors closest to the escalators, allowing commuters to alight first. it was abit wierd at first, as he was kinda plump and the ppl had to squeeze abit before they could get out. lol.
ok. its a good sign that some staff are so into their jobs, but its still not enuf. these staff should be rewarded and all, but these shouldnt be an incentive to perform well, just an extra bursary. it should come from the within. true? hmmm.
gt a new pair of jeans for $15, and my dad gt a pair of pants which i can wear aso for $20. quite worth it. wads with branded goods? a levis jeans after 50% discount cost $60. not much diff aso right? but personally i just like anything tat looks good and feels comfortable. maybe brand is just something else for ppl to associate with each other after all.
ciao.
