lol. i cant believe it. i actually dreamt of me getting 9As for my march progress report. lol its simply bewildering. i dun even offer 9 subjects in the first place. hahaha. well i guess its true.
hmmm. just came back from visiting my ah gong. the visit only left me with one thought. how would you want to die? most of us, i guess unless u arent normal, want a peaceful and quiet death. but how many in actual fact go just like that? or instead, how many leave the world with no agony pain and sorrow?
anw got this idea stuck in my head. inspired by ah gong. cos patients who lie in bed all day long will feel very hot in the back and theres nothing anyone can do about it. his entire back was so sweaty. and i got this idea from nat's knee icing concept. its exactly the same thing. except you replace the "water holder"(dunno wads the proper name) with a net of tubes. these tubes should be thin, soft, and slightly elastic. it works the same way too. connect the tub of icy water to the net, let the net be filled with cool water, by placing the tub above the net which should be below the patient's body. then detach the tub. when the water becomes at thermal equilibrium with the body temperature, replace the water by connecting the tub back, now placing the tub below the net's level. it works simply by the fact tat water flows from a higher region to a lower region. so when there's no more water in the net, replenish it by putting the tub above the net level. of cos the tub should be filled with icy water. the warm water can then be cooled again. best thing about this is that it does not require any electricity, perhaps other than making ice. also, the same tub can be reused for patients, so there can be like one tub for each room of patients. furthermore this is a simple process tat nurses can handle, at intervals of say maybe few hours in between. hmmmm. i tink tat its a good idea. any comments anyone? or anyone got any idea how to go about making a prototype and getting people to use it? im sure hospitals and nursing homes could put it to good use.
