people feel some loss when they lose a pet. like a cat, dog, bird. whatever. but it ridicules me how the same people can actually eat other animals. and actually thank someone else for the meal. it is just beyond my logical capacity. some may say that it is because they have formed a relationship with their pets. but think about it. the human population stands at 6billion and how many of them do we actually know? do we just go around killing them just because we do not know them? of cos we don't. its obviously against human rights. against what morals we have that we must respect that they are actually another being. so if we can care about other humans we do not know, care about little pets that are cute and fun to play with, why cant we extend this caring heart of ours to those animals trapped in a cage since birth till their dying moments in the slaughterhouse? isnt it against animal rights already? wad would ppl say if u confine ur cat or dog in cage that it doesnt even have space to turn around? i simply do not see any reason to say that animals are meant for food. try eating ur pet for the next meal.
the standing immemorial moral compass always points to the true north.
